H.E.R.I Jacksonville

Join with other homeschoolers on March 26 at the Fourth Annual "Day at the Capital" event in Tallahassee.   All Florida homeschoolers, whether FPEA members/fans or not, are invited to participate in a day of common purpose dedicated to all of Florida's homeschoolers and supporting homeschooling all across the Country.

Visit the capital, tour the buildings, hear influential homeschooling speakers,meet your lobbyist, talk to State representatives, and have the opportunity to speak to other Florida legislators as you join with homeschooling families from around the State in this display of unity, cohesiveness, and common purpose.

Speakers include:

• Brenda Dickinson, HEF
• and more

Activities include:

• Governor's Mansion tour
• Old Capital Building tour
• New Capital Building tour
• museums, historic sites, cultural centers, and more

Registration is not required, but do email the FPEA so they can plan for the number of families hoping to attend. Box lunches will be available as well as other activities and services throughout the day.  Many events are free but some carry a charge, so you'll want to pre-register for the tours and special events you would like to attend.
