Arlington Explorers - The Arlington Explorers (AE) is an eclectic homeschool support group serving Arlington and surrounding areas that meets for weekly park dates, monthly field trips, and quarterly service projects.  Additionally, we offer opportunities to order from Scholastic Book Club and an end of the year party/open house for our kids to show off their best work to family members, friends, and each other.  Although the majority of our families in AE are Christian, affiliation with a specific church or denomination is not required.  Our members attend a wide variety of churches and use an equally wide variety of curriculums.  There is no fee to join the group (other than the cost of field trips and events) or a minimum of activities that one must attend.  If you have any questions or wish to be added to the e-mail list, please feel free to contact Meleah Noland-Dennis at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   or (904)997-0086.  Our web site is :  www.arlingtonexplorers.org

Christ’s Church Homeschoolers is a faith-based group of 100 families meeting weekly at Christ’s Church in Mandarin.  Our group meets most Friday mornings from September to April.  We offer a variety of extra-curricular classes for a total of twelve Fridays in both the fall and spring semesters.  Many of these classes are taught co-op style by parents in the group,  and parental involvement is a requirement of group membership.  Occasional field trips, parties, park days and service projects are some of the other activities that group members enjoy.  We also sponsor Mom’s Night Out events and Bible studies to encourage spiritual growth and friendship development.  CCH membership is limited to 200 children, starting with pre-k and going through high school.  Because of this limit on our numbers, enrollment is closed for the 2008/09 school year.  Please e-mail Barbie at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.  www.homeschool-life.com/fllcchs
